This guide has no accounts, no forms and no mailing list, and it never asks for an email address. Reading it takes nothing from the reader but time.
What stays in the browser
Two small choices stay in the browser and go nowhere else. The theme choice is kept only until the tab closes. The town picked on the town ruler, such as Brandon, Steinbach or The Pas, is stored there too. Neither is sent anywhere.
Maps on this site, the ring included, are drawn from data stored on the site itself, with no outside map service loading in the background. Venue positions and distances come from OpenStreetMap coordinates, measured as straight lines rather than driving routes. The home page's paid links, marked Ad, open the partner site in a new tab. They do not pass along the page the reader came from.
